Offers in Fujairah this week

Fujairah: this week's offers at a glance

Fujairah is the only emirate located entirely on the east coast, facing the Gulf of Oman, with the Hajar Mountains behind it. Its shopping scene is smaller than in the big western cities but well equipped, with hypermarkets, co-operative and neighbourhood supermarkets serving the city city, Dibba and the coastal towns. Fresh fish from the local catch, fruit and vegetables and family staples feature prominently in the catalogues followed by residents.

The most searched offers in Fujairah

When people in Fujairah look for offers, the most searched are those of Nesto, LuLu Hypermarket, Carrefour and K.M. Trading, followed by Bigmart. Many type phrases such as “offers in Fujairah today” or “supermarket offers”, or add the store and area name, because what they want to know is what applies near them right now. This page gathers that answer in one place: the catalogues valid today first, then next week's sneak peeks, with an area filter.

Beyond groceries, mobile phone and home appliance offers are in high demand, as are weekend deals and the seasonal campaigns of Ramadan, Eid and National Day. Every store has its own page with its offers today and next week, one click away from the cards above.

Ramadan, Eid and back to school drive the catalogues; winter weekends bring visitors from the other emirates to the coast and the Friday Market.

Mornings on weekdays; the Friday Market is most pleasant in the cooler months, in the morning.

Getting around to shop in Fujairah

Fujairah stretches along the east coast, from Dibba in the north to Kalba in the south, so most shoppers drive to the hypermarkets and City Centre in the city city. The mountain road through Masafi links the coast to the rest of the UAE — the Friday Market is on that route.

Local tips for shopping in Fujairah

• Stop at the Friday Market on the way to the east coast for fruit, plants and pottery — opening times vary, so go in the morning.
• Hypermarkets in Fujairah city cover Kalba and Dibba too: check the areas listed under each catalogue.

Where to shop in Fujairah

Fujairah city centre and the Fujairah Town Center area concentrate most of the larger stores, while Dibba, in the north of the emirate, has its own supermarkets for the surrounding communities. Some retailers publish east-coast leaflets shared with Khorfakkan and Kalba, others print the city-only offers; the area list attached to each catalogue helps you check where an offer applies before you travel.

Catalogues valid this week

This week, catalogues from Al Safeer Hypermarket, Carrefour, Emax, Gala Supermarket, Jumbo, K.M. Trading, Last Chance and LuLu Hypermarket and more are available in Fujairah. Each one shows its validity dates and the branches listed by the retailer, and you can open it page by page in one click. Catalogues valid across the whole UAE appear here too, since they also apply to branches in the city.

A store being present in the city does not mean all its offers apply in every branch: some catalogues target a single area or store. Use the area filter above to keep only the catalogues that cover your area, or open your area page directly from the list.

Compare Fujairah with neighbouring emirates

Many residents of Fujairah also work or shop in Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. Because retailers sometimes publish different leaflets for each emirate, an offer may be better next door in the same week. Open the other city's page from the 'Other emirates' list above and compare quickly, especially before big purchases such as appliances or the monthly stock-up. Remember that fuel and time are part of the calculation: a small saving is not always worth a long drive.

Reading catalogue prices

Prices shown to consumers in the UAE are expected to include the 5% VAT, so the price printed in the catalogue is usually what you pay at the till, unless an extra condition such as a loyalty card or a minimum spend is mentioned. To compare two offers fairly, look at the unit price per kg or per litre rather than the pack price, and watch for phrases such as 'while stocks last' and 'in selected branches'.
